Exposed early in life to the world of art, vocalist and actress Olivia Neal is no stranger to the stage. With a sound that is mixed with soul and inspiration, it’s no wonder why she touches the very heart of her audience. Since singing at the age of 5, there is no question she is a natural born entertainer.
Throughout her years of experience, Olivia Neal’s repertoire has grown covering a variety of genres including Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Neo-Soul, Pop, Country, and Blues. She’s been seen in several concerts including, “Here’s to Life: The Experience, Starring Olivia Neal”, “A Tribute to Stevie Wonder from a Woman’s Point of View”, and also the St. Louis Black Repertory Theater’s Tribute to Whitney Houston. She has the pleasure of performing with many local and national artists including opening for international gospel recording artist Rev. Marvin Sapp and also for international jazz recording Vanessa Rubin.
As a trained actress, she has also performed in several plays. She has been seen in Tell Me Something Good, Once on this Island, Raisin in the Sun, Intimate Apparel, ‘And the World Goes Round, Tintypes, Suessical and much more. She was also featured in the stage production and book premiere release of Rivers of Women.
