Bill Clark
Bill Clark began playing guitar at the age of 14. He grew up listening to the classic rock music of Van
Halen, Led Zeppelin, ACDC, etc. By the age of 16 Bill was playing profesionally in local rock bands.
He also played in the high school jazz band for two years and began teaching private lessons full time
after graduating high school.
Inspiration struck when Bill heard Larry Carlton's Sleepwalk album and the playing of the great George
Benson, players that altered Bill's course from playing only Rock to also playing Jazz , Blues and other
styles of music. With the help of his music instructors, daily playing and study he began to find his own
voice. Bill has been playing and writing music ever since.
Bill currently produces music in his home studio and plays in the Bill Clark Trio with bassist Bruce
Crask and drummer Herrie Pullom. Promised Land, released in August of 2015, marks Bill's first
original album. Bill is committed to continued writing and playing, striving to improve and
produce quality music.
